Job Summary
The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain web and mobile applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Participate in system design and architecture discussions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other developers.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services.
- Support deployment and maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong knowledge of:
- PHP (Laravel)
- JavaScript (React/Vue.js)
- MySQL/PostgreSQL
- REST APIs
- Git Version Control
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or DigitalOcean) is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Docker and containerized deployments.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Salary Range
TZS 3,000,000 – 6,000,000 per month (depending on experience).
